would think an elderly, overweight male who smokes, that suffers a heart attack, and collapses
and dies. But, in actuality, any man, especially over the age of 40, any woman over the age
of 50, and even younger and healthier people can suffer heart attacks. In general people
who are sedentary, overweight, have a bad nutrition, and smoke, have a higher risk of
suffering heart attack. Especially once they develop other medical problems like high blood
pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes. And the ones that have a family history of
heart attacks. If, your mother and father, your grandfather and grandmother died early
in life from a heart attack, that chances are that you’re genetically predisposed to
also suffer heart attack. In those situations, you need to follow up with your doctor and
have annual physicals and discuss further the risk factors that are unique to yourself.
