Heart Attack Symptoms : Importance of CPR Classes

As a paramedic, I highly recommend the public
to learn CPR. CPR stands for cardio pulmonary resuscitation. To break that apart, cardiac
is heart, pulmonary is lungs, resuscitation is to start both your heart and your breathing
back up. In essence, you’re going to breathe and circulate the blood for them. To learn
how to do this appropriately, you need to take a CPR class, which are often sponsored
by your local American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or one of your community
colleges in the area. To do CPR, you will first have to learn how to identify a cardiac
arrest patient. Second, you’re going to learn how to manage their airway, breathe for them
appropriately, and then, how to do good and efficient chest compressions. I always like
to tell people that if you want to be a hero to someone you love, learn CPR.
