THROUGHOUT THIS NEWSCAST ON FOX23.COM. REPORTING LIVE COVERING IS THAT MATTERS I AM LYNN CASEY FOX23 NEWS MISS CAPEN — MISTAKEN FOR HOMELESS AND THROWN INTO THE STORY. THOSE ARE THE ALLEGATION A TULSA MAN IS MAKING AGAINST A LOCAL HOSPITAL. THE MAN SAYS HE WAS KICKED OUT INSTEAD OF RECEIVING CARE AT HILLCREST HOSPITAL. FOX23 ASHLEY LINCOLN SPOKE WITH HIM AND SHE IS LIVE WITH THE MESSAGE THAT HE IS TO SHARE TONIGHT. REPORTER: TIFFANY, HE SAYS THAT HE CAN NO LONGER DRIVE A CAR OR PLAY WITH HIS GRANDCHILDREN. HE TELLS ME HE WAS HAVING A HEART ATTACK WHILE HE WAS WAITING FOR MEDICAL CARE HERE AT HILLCREST HOSPITAL. WE’RE NOT SHOWING HIS FACE OUT OF CONCERN FOR HIS SAFETY. REPORTER: TIMOTHY HOLT IS APRIL 12, 2015 IS ONE HIS LIFE CHANGED FOREVER. I BASICALLY HAD A HEART ATTACK FOR 14 HOURS. TURKEY TELLS ME HILLCREST REFUSED TO HELP THEM BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT HE WAS HELPLESS — HOMELESS. THAT IS THE MOST TERRIFIED I HAVE BEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. CHOKEHOLD ATTORNEY — NEGLIGENCE IS ONE THING BUT WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO THIS MAN WAS INTENTIONAL. REPORTER: THE LAWSUIT SAYS HOLT WAS BROUGHT TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER HAVING SYMPTOMS OF A HEART ATTACK. THEY TELL HIS WIFE WE ARE GOING TO GET HIM ADMITTED AND A DOCTOR. YOU CAN GO HOME. REPORTER: HOURS AND HOURS GO BY WHILE HOLD SLOWLY HAVING A HEART ATTACK. THEY IGNORED ME. THE HE IS HITTING THE EMERGENCY BUTTON. THE NURSE KEEPS COMING IN AND SAYING, WE ARE BUSY STOP HITTING THE BUTTON. REPORTER: A STAFF TRY TO GET HIM INTO SUNDAY LEFT WITHOUT MEDICAL RELEASE FORM. I WOULD LIKE HAVING A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK IN UP AND WALK OUT OF THE DOOR. REPORTER: AYNOR SENSITIVITY GUARD GRABBED HIM BY THE ARMS AND DRAGGED HIM OUT OF THE HOSPITAL. THROWS HIM OUT IN THE PARKING LOT AND TELLS THEM NOT TO COME BACK. I HAD TO DRAG MYSELF BACK INTO THE HOSPITAL. CHOKEHOLD SAID HE WAS ABLE TO CALL HIS WIFE. WHEN HE RETURNED STAFF REALIZED HE WASN’T HOMELESS AND HAD INSURANCE. REPORTER: WHAT DO I HILLCREST IT TO DO? THE ONLY STATE THAT I CAN SAY IS TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME. REPORTER: HILLCREST WITH DECLINED TO MATE REQUEST FOR INTERVIEW WITH SENT THE STATEMENT SAYING WE DENY THE ALLEGATIONS CONTAINED IN THIS LAWSUIT AND PLAN TO RESPOND ACCORDINGLY.
