Meet James- Heart Attack Survivor I am James and the first time I was feeling the symptoms of a heart attack was when I was driving down central expressway in Dallas and I had dropped off my wife’s cell phone and
they were working on it so I’ll put it in park and other park thinking
that okay the pain will go away. It’s sort of pounding when I
was driving but it wouldn’t so bad that I couldn’t drive. But the
pain didn’t go away so I called her and then she called 911 because the pain would get worse
you wouldn’t get any easier but it was still there And it didn’t feel like a heart attack cause
it was a mild pounding chest but I knew something was wrong because I’ve never feel that bad before and they were there within a couple of
minutes And I was in hospital within It seems to me within an hour of having an heart attack so because of that because it was fast and have responded quickly and didn’t
hesitate I wouldn’t have any damage to my heart there were so many people around me is like Who’re these people? What do they come from? How did they know to be here at this
time? And you know the
paramedics have prepped for that and I was lucky that there was no damage
to my heart I could just do everything that I would
do before and I am so I would say do not hesitate to call
somebody to help you do not hesitate to call 911 the
sooner the better my outlook has changed because I think I have
more of the sense of urgency of things. I think
that having a heart attack I am being caught so close to death gives me a feeling of okays you can help
others and you need to to get on with it
because you may not have a chance tomorrow Heart Attack? Don’t Die of Doubt American Heart Association | American Stroke Association Communities Foundation of Texas
